USA Phase II - Capitol Leadership

Overview: Phase II of the FCCLA Ultimate State Officer Academy (USA) leadership training is held in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, in September. Phase II is composed of four days of intensive training, meetings, planning, and exercises designed to launch the 2008-2009 ultimate leadership experience for chapter and state officers. Chapter and state officers will also have the incredible experience of touring our nation's capital. Officers who schedule meetings with their Congressional representatives in advance will receive public policy and advocacy training and have the opportunity to meet with elected and appointed officials of the Federal government. Chapter and state officers will also join the newly elected national officers in working together to serve the needs of thousands of members and chapters across America.
