Where are the National Program Award Applications located?
Program Award Applications are located online on the FCCLA affiliation system: https://affiliation.registermychapter.com/fccla#
How do I login in?
New System First Time Login: If you are affiliating an existing chapter you will need to enter your chapter into the new system and provide adviser and chapter information to establish your chapter in the new affiliation system - please click on the "2014-2015 Affiliation" button. Once you have completed this process, a username and password will be emailed to you for future use in the Affiliation System.
First Time Chapter Affiliation: If you are affiliating a new chapter - please click on the "First Time Chapter Affiliation" button and follow the on-screen instructions carefully.
Returning Users: Enter your Username and Password and click on the Login button.
FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION
Will I be able to save my work? How?
Yes, you will be able to save your work at any point during the application process, and return to work on your application later. When you are ready to save work, simply hit the "Save" button on the bottom of each award application page. It is a good idea to periodically save your work should you encounter internet problems.
Will the application perform spell check?
Yes. Although there is spell check on the applications, we still suggest you use a word processing program with spell check, such as Microsoft Word.
Where can I find a blank copy of the program award application to print?
You may print off a blank copy of each program award application before you begin completing it by going to the “Programs” tab of the FCCLA website and going to the specific National Program you are applying for. There you will find a preview of the application to print.
I have filled out the application, but need to print a copy for my records. How do I do so?
When you are finished filling out the program award application. Simply print the web page that you are currently on.
SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION
When is the latest I can submit my application?
Applications are due March 1, and must be submitted BY 11:59 p.m. EST on March 1, 2015. The system will close down immediately following the deadline, so be sure you get your application in early. The date and time that you submit each application will appear on your main menu. You will be able to access your application after the deadline, but you will not be allowed to submit or continue working.
I accidentally hit submit on my application before it was ready, can I submit another application?
No. To prevent this, there is a pop-up box that appears after hitting "submit" that will ask you once more if you will like to submit your application.
How will I know if my application has been successfully submitted?
You can go back to the Program Awards tab on the affiliation, and if the application was properly submitted, it will change from “APPLY NOW” to “VIEW”
When and where will the winning projects be listed?
The winning projects will be posted on the national website under each program tab on April 15, 2015.
When will I receive my letter and certificate?
The Program Award recipients will receive a letter including information about the National Leadership Conference by April 15, 2014. All other applicant letters and certificates will be sent by May 1, 2014. PLEASE CHECK SPAM FILTERS AND SCHOOL BLOCKS!
Who do I contact if I never receive my letter and/or certificate?

What is the time period for project development and completion?
Projects must be carried out between March 1, 2014 and March 1, 2015.
Am I able to access my completed applications from last year once I sign on this year?
Yes. Any applications SUBMITTED in the previous year will be available in the Archive section of the affiliation system.
My state would like a copy of my completed application, how should I send it?
Your state adviser will have their own log-in information that allows them to view and/or print your award application(s).
Will my chapter receive recognition for Project Summary Report Forms?
Yes. Chapters will receive a certificate and individual names will be posted on the national FCCLA website, as well as on the screen at the National Leadership Conference.
Print the preview application and work in a Microsoft Word document to ensure your work is saved. Copy and paste directly into the online award system.
